Nopales Salad

Ingredients:

  • 6 chopped and cooked nopales
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 2 chopped serrano peppers
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 cup crumbled or diced fresh cheese

Preparation:

Mix together tomato, onion, serrano peppers, cilantro and nopales in a bowl. Pour the lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper in another bowl. Add this mixture to the nopales and mix very well. Sprinkle cheese and avocado slices on top.
